Founded in 2020 by Catherine and Stuart Smith, C.S. Smith Management was born out of their extensive experience managing private residences on the island of St. John, USVI. After relocating to their home state of North Carolina, Catherine and Stuart brought their expertise to the High Country, offering bespoke property management services to discerning homeowners. Drawing on their diverse backgrounds in business, real estate, planning, and hospitality, they quickly developed tailored programs and services to meet the evolving needs of their clientele. As the company grew, so did its reputation for excellence and attention to detail. In just five years, the company expanded its offerings and built a diverse, highly skilled team of professionals. Their success led to the company’s expansion into the Charlotte and Lake Norman markets. In 2025, in order to better represent the full scope of their services and the exceptional team behind them, the company rebranded as Alerion Estate Management—a name that reflects their commitment to quality, professionalism, and the personalized service their clients have come to expect.
